I had professional athlete aspirations and
was fortunate enough to travel the country
playing music. I was a pretty stellar ski bum.
I believed you could be an entrepreneur
while working for someone else. And now,
some 15 years into my gig as a marketer I
strive to ensure that guy is not lost.
As a career tends to go you first fight for an
opportunity and then with success comes the
opportunity to fight for what you believe is
the right way to go about things.

I’ve always been full of ideas.
When I was young, my big idea was to be a
pro tennis player.
I slept listening to a Walkman to learn a
I once thought it’d be a good idea to challenge
a jellyfish to a fight (it wasn’t).
Not surprisingly, I’ve chosen a career where
I get to work with super talented people,
dreaming up big, smart ideas every single day.
As a creative, there’s nothing more rewarding
than conceptualizing, crafting, and realizing
those ideas into memorable work for our clients.
But what I love most about big ideas is that
they transcend mediums, channels, and trends.
Which means there will always be a need for
more great ideas. And I will continue to dream
them up with the same enthusiasm I did
when I was little.

It seems like only yesterday I was spending
my days traveling the globe in search of the
perfect wave and the perfect pint. While I
haven't abandoned my search, it is just a
little more sporadic now.
I've been working in marketing for over a
decade now, crisscrossing the various
disciplines within the industry. It has been
exciting to be part of the industry’s
numerous transitions over those years. I've
enjoyed being part of the ever-increasing
integration of marketing methods; it only
makes sense when the world itself is
undergoing such rapid change.
The opportunity to do brilliant work with
clients and colleagues who are driven by
creativity and innovation, has kept me
going. The possibilities of invention and
ingenuity motivate me for what lies ahead.
